Driving home from Thanks Giving Dinner at my Mom's this evening, I don't know what I found more surprising, the amount of snow on the ground, or the fact that I didn't see a single snow plow or sign of snow plow activity during the entire drive back from the San Marcos area to Santa Fe. I guess, that's not true; I was more surprised not to have seen a snow plow since the weather reports had been talking snow since last weekend.
One would think that Santa Fe County would have been more prepared to clear snow from the roads on a big travel holiday, especially after the failure of the county to respond during last winter's big storm when many roads were left unplowed for days.
