In the last update I received from the warehouse in Bernalillo County, I heard the familiar frustrations of somebody who has poured their heart out for a candidate only to be let down by a campaign.
One veteran Democratic Party volunteer I spoke with this evening expressed concern that since congress had already shifted into Democrat's control, the DNC and even members of the state Democratic Party were beginning to seem less motivated to fight it out for Patricia.
However, another veteran Democratic activist argued that if the Madrid campaign had started their election-Day Get-Out-The-Vote efforts before the leisurely 9 a.m. that they supposedly started their election-day, they might have easily gained an additional 1500 votes.
Can somebody please confirm if indeed Madrid's campaign started their election day GOTV at 9 a.m.
Regardless of the vote count tomorrow, we need a random sample audit of the machines in CD 1 to make sure the machine count matches the ballot count. Both parties have a vested interest in making sure that happens.
