New Mexico's governor and attorney general recently issued a joint press release about protecting the state's flood victims from "contractor fraud."As federal money and insurance reimbursements flow into the state for repairs of flood-damaged houses and property, state leaders are warning victims to be wary of unlicensed and unscrupulous contractors.
But as KUNM's Jim Williams reports, there are allegations in one New Mexico town that some state and local officials may not be holding themselves to the same standards.
