Contrary to my standard operating assumption that no sense is common when it comes to partisan politics, I received the following email from a staffer on a targeted congressional race outside the land of entrapment who had this to say on how they pitched handling deadline day for part D:
Amazing, funny i was just saying to the campaign we should send out a blast including information about how to register and how to get your questions answered. Directing them to county services, maybe do even an open house where we have people who can assist them in our office. Assitance -- not lambasting -- until AFTER the deadline.
Let's just hope they took your advice.
