Last Friday the Madrid campaign put out a press release announcing that the AG Congressional Candidate would be holding a press conference in the morning on Monday, the last for senior's to register before next November, when they'll have to pay higher premiums.
But here's the thing, while the Madrid campaing was holding it's press conference, Heather Wilson was doing what she's been doing for the last year, communicating with seniors and assisting them in the enrolling and program description .
Say what you will about Heather, the GOP, the drug plan and the number of seniors in the state that didn't get registered before the deadline, but for the past year Heather Wilson and her staff proved that public service still has a place in politics.
What would have been great would have been if the AG's campaign had held their fire, or even crazier, maybe tried to help get senior enrolled rather than spend time calling the program a failure before the day was even over.
