Mario Burgos noted something important last Thursday regarding Governor Richardson's decision to eject Guy Riordan from his administration. The Governor's decision came immediately after RIordan had been implicated in testimony during the Vigil trial but that doesn't mean Richardson & Co. didn't see this one coming months ago. In fact, the Albuquerque Journal's Thom Cole sniffed the story out in September of 2005, noting at the time that Rirodan had contributed $28,000 to the Governor's various campaigns, the same $28,000 that the Governor was so quick to return only last week. And just to clarify, thats not really the same $28k.
