Mark Fleisher Sited

This invite showed up in my email yesterday afternoon from former
Arizona State Party Chair and current Butch Maki & Associates
associate, Mark Fleisher.

Hi - Mayor Martin Chavez is hosting a fundraiser for Patrica Madrid for Congress - this Wednesday, September 27 at the Kiva Auditorium (ABQ Convention Center) feturing comedian Paul Rodriguez. There is a private party with Paul before the event and also an after-show party. Prices are $ 35 - $65 for the show only and $1,000 and $300 for the show and private parties. Discounts are available (and we can offer free lower priced ticktes with the purchase of the more expensive packages) If you have any interest for yourself or would like to buy tickets for associatates or employees contact me by E- mail or call me at the number below.

It's interesting that Fleisher would emerge at this late date in the
campaign, and no less to announce a fundraiser being thrown by Marty
for Patricia. I reported here before that Maki & Associates has the
contract to run the coordinated campaign (unprecedented access for a
lobbying firm), but Fleisher also ran Marty's campaign so it's
possible that's his cover for making the invite.

Either way, solicits where prospective donors to a federal race are
told they can buy tickets for associates and employees are rare.

The Marty / Patricia angle deserves more delving before election day
as well.
